Snagit Audio Recording in Citrix

Snagit 12.4.1 Build3036 – Aug 14, 2015 (Windows Server 2008 R2) audio recording does not work within Citrix XenDesktop (7.9). However, when logging in through a console session to that same machine everything works. 


"Snagit is unable to start the system audio recording. Please check and make sure that the audio card drivers are up to date. If the problem persists, please contact TechSmith."

Is this supported?

Slightly different but getting the same error when trying to record group meetings, presentations on like Webex etc.  With everything set up exactly the same work fine of regular videos like recording from CNN etc.

I THINK the problem started with a recent Windows update but can't prove for sure since don't record presentations that often.  I am using snagit 12 not going to update to 13 yet reading all the problems.
