Hello,
When i want to capture a part of a window snagit helps me with automatically "light up" parts of the window to capture. And that is exactly what I need. But sometimes after I have clicked on the part I want, snagit opens his editor and adds about a cm of the window that is around the selected area. Why? Because it does not do this everytime.

Here he does it

Here he doesnt

Notice that your first image shows the Title Bar of the application selected. Generally speaking, when you also choose to include the Title Bar, you also get the frame of the application.

The second image shows only the client area having been selected.

Cheers... Rick :)

Yes but I don't want to have the Title bar. And even if I don't select the title bar with snagit, he gives the title bar in the image.

Hi Michael;

What version of Snagit are you running? What version of Windows? Is the Desktop Scaling on your computer set to 100% (often found in the Display Properties section)?

Hello,

I have version 12.4.1. Yes scaling is on 100%. But the frustrating thing is that sometimes he correctly makes the screenshots and sometimes he adds the menu above.
