Snagit disappears from task bar after laptop has been to sleep

Hi, with my new laptop (Windows 10 Enterprise V 1809), I find that Snagit disappears from the task bar whenever the laptop wakes from sleep.  This didn't happen with my old machine (Windows 7 Enterprise).   I'm running Snagit V 12.4.0 on both and have checked that "Always keep editor running in the background" is ticked in Preferences.  It's annoying as I have to re-launch Snagit every time.

Am I missing a trick somewhere?

I just ran a test on SnagIt 12 on Windows 10 Home version 1903.
Putting the computer to sleep and then waking it up.

If the editor is actually open,  appearing on a monitor.
Or minimized to the task bar.
An Icon appears on taskbar.
The editor remained open.

If its simply running in the background, no Icon will appear.
I made a couple of captures, closing the editor each time. The Icon disappeared.
After capture it opened in the blink of an eye. Which indicates its still running in the background. Cold starts take 2 to 4 seconds on my computer.

I haven't run Win7 in at least 5 or 6 years. I've forgotten how it functions to be quite honest.
If you right click the SnagIt Icon while it appears on the taskbar, select pin to taskbar. It will always be available.
