Previously, I could select part of a captured image and copy it. Now all I get is an arrow or whatever. Why can't I do what I used to do so easily?

Hi Perry - good news: you can still select and copy part of a capture in Snagit 13; here are instructions that show how. If you do a lot of selecting and copying, you can customize the Snagit toolbar to keep that tool handy. And Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+0 are handy for switching between tools if you don't want to click.

Hope that helps!

I can't see a More button either. Here's the screen I see.

Aah! I'll make an appointment with an optometrist for this afternoon.

Thanks for your help.

Can I make the selection tool be the default tool instead of the arrow? I almost never use the arrow but I do select areas to modify them quite a bit. In the older versions, the selection tool was the default.

Unfortunately, the arrow is the default tool. It's pretty irritating to me. I hope they do something about this through an update.
