Snagit Editor won't run in non-admin account

I have used Snagit in my corporate environment for several years without issue.  I just deployed several computers with Snagit 12 pre-installed.  Works great for the administrator, doesn't work at all for the normal (non-admin) user.

Uninstalled version 12.  Manually removed any leftover registry keys and files (including program files, program data, roaming, local etc...).  Install latest release of version 13.  Same problem.

Snagit Editor will not run no matter what I do.  I'm running on Windows 10, fully updated.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Temp files can do that but you sound like you have covered the usual bases. I would try it in safe mode and if it works there, start looking at anti virus programs  some of which can block  with no indication. If your company uses McAfee ... DEFINITELY keep that step in mind..  If that doesn't do it the next step is to Submit a ticket

Hello, thanks for the quick reply.  No anti-virus installed on these computers...

FYI, the software does actually run for a short time, I get an error message about some folders that are not there (since I deleted them in the cleanup).

That might be solved with a reinstall of the program - a repair over the top of your current setup. Try to catch the names of the missing folders. This indicates a broken install rather than anything else. Please remember that all we  fellow users can do is to guess
