I have rolled back snagit to a previous version several times because new version actually LOST Functionality that we had in earlier versions.
HINT - pass any new versions by your test group- take a week to invent a new feature and then take a MONTH to test it and 2 months to see if it should be implemented!
Case in POINT  Snagit 12  what happened to the hot spot drop down to get into snagit. That little spot that hung around the edge of the screen to grab Snagit quickly when you needed it?
alwways  ALWAYS ALWAYS LEAVE functions from the older version that can be used while we transition to the new version!

Amen. The horror started in version 12 where a lot of things either broke or were removed. THey have still not recovered. In addition it has become clumsy to use

I agree. The functionality should come before anything else. The "buttom line" is what really matter in a good software.

Hi Superrarr,

The functionality you're talking about is the One-Click Interface. It still exists within Snagit, it is just not enabled by default anymore. This change was made because of feedback we received from Snagit 12. This page explains how to enable the one-click workflow in Snagit 13.

I hope this helps!
