I think 520 GB qualifies as sufficient space free.

Hello Joe, tried cleaning out the temporary files which resulted in no improvement. Scrolling functionality still not working.

Clean out your temp files and see if that helps
The y can be found at
C:\Users\LOGIN NAME\AppData\Local\Temp
CCleaner and WIsecare 360 can do this for  you (and a lot more)
You can also make a batch file and put it in your system startup folder with the following:

@echo off
del "%tmp%\*.*" /s /q /f
FOR /d %%p IN ("%tmp%\*.*") DO rmdir "%%p" /s /q

Couldn't hurt. Cn't say I've never seen 519GB of temp files.LOL

Windows 95 was a bear with theat. People would be in Word and could not save a file. THe issue was often so many temp files that Word could no longer create a filename ... clean them out and they were back in business.. Things are better these days but it does not hurt to make sure that the temp folder is cleaned out

I have online now an exterior drive "Verbatim" probably not working because I have difficulty putting it in right.  I also purchased iCloud.  That maybe not working because I have not trafficked it properly.  I do not mind paying the price, but I wish someone would come into my iMac and take a look around to make the need updates and software connections.  Thank you.  Lelyn.

I have to say that I am pretty ticked off on this support ticket.  Clearly there is more to the story on this problem. 

I ran into the same issue...plenty of disk space available...and SnagIt permanently stops working for all captures. 

I had an important presentation to do and SnagIT blew it.  Almost lost my laptop in the process.
