I need to add multiple text boxes that must align with columns in a mocked-up screen shot. Using the Tab key to align text would mean the difference between 8 text boxes (rows) and 72 individual text boxes.

Hi Linda,
Are the text boxes you need to simulate all the same widths apart?
If so, could you just use the spacebar to move the text to the desired location to line it up with your visual?
Or, could you create a Google doc with a table and adjust the columns to how you need them spaced, and add the text, making the borders white? THen you could do a screenshot of that and add it to the visual.
The text could later be redone using the Grab Text feature.

Overall, the Tab option you suggest won't work in Snagit - SORRY!
