Snagit Memory Leak (Crash) when pasting Hebrew

When I post text with Hebrew in it, the canvas size goes to an insane number and then half a minute later I get a warning that Snagit is using 100GB+ of memory. Would be nice if you could support rtl (right to left) languages in the future. Only English and German is very limited.

Thats an unusual error.
I'm a Windows user, so I'm not much help.
I don't know if I duplicated your steps?
I used Google translate and changed some text to Hebrew. Copy and pasted it into a new 1920 x 1080 image.
The canvas area remained the same size. The editor consumed 210mb of memory and it never grew.It actually dropped 10 mb since I started typing.

I would open a ticket with support.

Regards,Joe

If you're referring to "Grab Text"
SnagIt only supports English, French and German. I think? They may have added more?

I bet all my worldly possessions Hebrew isn't supported. LOL

The crash happens when I paste Hebrew text from Microsoft Word to Snagit...
If it's more than one word, it crashes. If I type it directly into Snagit, I'm fine.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for reporting this. I tried this and saw that it pastes the whole thing vertically, but I didn't see a crash or huge amounts of memory usage. What version of Snagit and macOS are you running?
Also how much text were you pasting? I tried with 500 characters.
