I bought Snagit for my Windows PC 5 months ago but will be buying a Mac in the New Year.

Can I install Snagit on the Mac or do I have to buy a new copy?

Thanks for your help.

Look at the posted link, It would appear you should be good to go with a product key.

I'm not sure if techsmith  has a cross-grade policy or not.  But it would be well worth the money to purchase both SnagIt Mac ,and Camtasia2 Mac as well, for your Mac. They are the two most used utilities I use on my Mac. I use both all the times in answering questions on several support forums on Microsoft an, Apple, and Adobe.

Sorry if my post got into your mail Box. All I know I received a notice to reply, I pressed the reply button after I answered the Post. Evidently the way this system works is a copy of the reply is put on the server and everyone subscribed to the group get a notice whether They posted or not. which is the norm for most help newsgroups.

@pjonesCET & Francisco,

Whenever you post or comment in a thread in the community it automatically sets the "follow" flag. The follow flag will deliver replies to your email address to save you the effort of re-visiting threads periodically to see updates.

If you're not interested anymore you can "unfollow" it whenever you want; the toggle is at the top of the page.

Doesn't bother me, I like to see the latest comments. And try to make helpful comments. The other fellow seemed to think I sent a personal reply, when I was actually just answering the post. No harm done and I wasn't offended, nor was my intention to offend anyone.  I read, ask, and answer questions on several Forums. Most do as you describe some use personalized response though.  That may have been where the confusion came in. BTW since getting on this community I've found out things I can do with SnagIt Mac I was unaware I could do, which has actually increased my usability of SnagIt Mac even more making it more valuable.
