Snagit Printer capture settings output file jpeg tiff pdf to location as in snagit 9.1.2

Hi,
The firm I'm working at, a lot of people make use of the option to output as a tiff, jpeg or... file when printing to the snagit printer.  They make use of the snagit virtual printer.
In the printer caputre settings of version 9.1.2 they can specify to do so.
13 and 2018 don't have this option.  But as we need to migrate them to Windows 10, we have a problem missing this option in the new versions.   I've allready tried a ticket, but they suggested to post it here...

Could they use the Print to PDF option through the Print Dialog box?

I know the answer to all this is to process it in the editor where you can save as a wide variety of file types including PDF

Thanks Rick and Paul for replying. Just pdf is not enough and processing through the editor is a workaround, but not the automated solution we had in Snagit 9.1.2

I am a little unclear what the use case is.  What's their workflow and what is the end goal please?

UC:
User sends multiple documents towards the Snagit Printer.
The Snagit Printer outputs it as tiff or pdf or whatever selected in the screenshot shown above in my original post.

What the further context is does not matter.  My request is to have this automated solution back, as present in previous Snagit version(s).  Not a manual workaround.  Allready our dev(s) have some automated alternative for certain situation by now; but we stil miss this feature on Windows 10 for all of the use cases.

If you want help it does matter. We are only asking as there may be other ways to do what you want ... if we understand what you are trying to do and what you feel is broken in the latest version
The snagit printer sends docs one at a time to Sngit's editor and you save them out any way you want. I remember when you could print to a JPG or any supported format. It is a bit redundant since batch processing

Yep.  Just trying to help.  @finndesolace you do realise that this is a user forum and, whilst TechSmith do get actively involved, the majority of answers come from users like Rick and me?

Well, I was forwarded by the Techsmith support team to this forum  as this would be the best way to get the developers notice.  As you insist on getting more context:  The users are working in an autocad like program where they draw a rectangle with the toolset of that program.  One of the options, is that they can print the layers resulting in a set of documents.  The receiving party of those documents may not have the autocad like program...  Anyway , they want to convert all of those layers to their desired format.  I do appreciate your input.  The batch process would mean an extra manual step in the process.  I think my initial post with screenshots in it actually illustrate what is needed.  This would retain the same way of working.
