My team is using SnagIt tool for recording certain processes, however they are facing issues at times.
Some recordings are successful though. I searched through the forums and one of the replies from the tech support was to change the settings in SnagIt to turn-off web camera. However, we checked and that option was already disabled. Also, we are not trying to invoke the camera at all. All we are trying to do is screen capture video for some internal processes (corporate desktops)
I am wondering if this is being caused due to
1. Recording being saved on a shared drive (as the team members only have shared drives and no physical drives)
2. At times, the recording is paused and then started
3. Moving between various applications
4. Using a dual screen set-up. Sometimes during the recording, the user moves an application that gets opened in the second screen to the main screen on which SnagIt is running.
I wouldn't be able to debug all of these, so could you let me know the possible causes?
