SnagIt research - publish a pre-alert?

In today's world one has to be very careful on what to click on when receiving mails.

I received a mail titled:
"Snagit research - share your opinions to win an Amazon gift card!"

This mail looks very legitimate and it probably is: when hovering over some of the links, they refer to TechSmith.
Then again, that's the case with most phishing mails.

Suggestion: maybe it is worthwhile considering to publish a kind of notification here, so it can be verified that it is okay.
Personally, in most cases, I delete such mails right away.

Thanks

Hi Mike62;
Thanks for the feedback (it is indeed something of ours). I've passed the thread on to the team in charge of that email so they are away of what you're seeing/saying here.

Thanks.

It wasn't much work.

It was way less than the 8 minutes mentioned in the mail.
In fact, less than 10 seconds...

The 1st question I needed to answer was about my use. I tagged: "Personal use."
Then I got

"

"

That was a quick one  :-)
