I have added too many tags in Snagit. Tell me a way to delete some of them or edit tag name. Thanks.

Hi Murugesan, thanks for taking the time to write.

Currently there is no way to edit existing tags, you can delete them though! Once a tag is deleted from all of the captures it is applied to, it will automatically be removed as a tagging option from the Editor the next time you exit/reopen Snagit and the Editor (e.g. when you reset). If you want to the removed the tag immediately, after deleting the tag(s) from the capture, simply File > Exit Snagit and the Editor and reopen them.

As far as deleting goes, here are some workflows that will hopefully assist.

How to Delete a Tag from a Capture Workflow:
1. Select desired capture in Editor's Recent Tray.
2. Click Tag.
3. Click/select the tag you wish to delete.
4. Press the delete key on your keyboard.

If a tag has been applied to multiple captures, you will need to delete the tag from all of the captures. Here's a workflow for how to handle this scenario.

How to Delete a Tag Series via the Library Workflow:
1. In Editor, click the 'Library' button.
2. Click the 'Tags' section to open it.
3. Click/select your desired tag.
4. Right mouse click in the image area > click 'Select All'.
5. Click the 'Tag' button.
6. Click/select the tag you wish to delete.
7. Press the delete key on your keyboard.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thanks!
