Dear Snaggers,

I'm relatively new to Windows 10 - have installed it only since 1.5 months. Hence I'm surpirsed that ordinary updates of an application create Critical entries in the Windows Reliability Monitor as "Critical events":

The first item provides these "Technical details":

Questions
  • Why does the update process just kill the currently running application to update it?
  • I'm also curious why the removal (last item) was after the update?
  • Is this 'normal behaviour' of (automatic) updates (also of other applications) ?
→ the value of the Reliability Monitor becomes nearly null.
Best regards
