Snagit version 2018: Recorded video contains lines.

Video recorded with snagit 2018 contains lines (I mean lines that are like blurry stuff) in the back ground of the video, no web cam is used. I record an area of 1192x670 and the recording quality is set to high. So what seems to be the problem? Note: the software records fine even though the audio is a bit low quality but what is up with the lines that show up?

What happens if you adjust the  capture size slightly?

If I did like the 1196x664 I get a slightly better (slightly). But shouldn't the capture be perfect regardless of what area size I decide to use?

Ah thanks for your help. Just one question it says on the quality picker that medium is a recommended. Does it mean that high is too much or not recommended? And if I did record my screen at the above resolution then when I send this video to a mobile phone would the quality of the video change when played on any kind of mobile device?

The quality won't change on a mobile device.  Try the medium quality settings and see if it works.  Typically, for the kind of video recordings that SnagIt is aimed at (tutorials) the higher quality settings are not that important.  if you need high quality you might be better with Camtasia

Ahh so playing the video on any device (mobile) wont make it fuzzy or blurry?

I wouldn't so that far.  You videos might look fuzzy on my 27 in 2K monitor but fine on my smartphone.

It's a combination of pixels and physical size.
