Snagit Version Out of Sync

I am using Snagit for Windows version 2018.2.1 (64 bit) (Build 1590) - 6/25/2018.  I'd include a screenshot as suggested but when I try Snagit erases its own windows.  I'm also using Windows 10 ver 1803 that is up to date.

Three times now I've started Windows and received pop-ups from Snagit saying an update is available and I can update now by clicking.  I click and the Techsmith website says I "...currently have the latest version of Snagit."

1. Do I, in fact, have the latest version?
2. How can I get the two, my PC and the Techsmith website, to agree?

The Upload Image tool doesn't seem to work with Snagit windows.
