Snagit Video Capture - Increased static over time.

Thought I'd hit the community up for this one at the same time as I submit a ticket, as it's a strange one that may not *directly* be caused by SnagIt.

The problem: As I record a video capture with Snagit, static slowly increases over time. Audio is crystal clear (using the Blue Yeti) at the beginning, and over the course of several minutes, background static becomes more and more audible until the audio quality is awful.

I've tested regular audio recording with Audacity and a screen capture (with audio) using Quicktime's Screen Recording tool, and both work flawlessly. It's only in SnagIt that I get the static that slowly increases in volume over time.

Any thoughts? :(

It might be a weird question, but are your speakers on when you're recording? I might be way off the mark, but it reminds me of times when I had my speakers on and it was mild feedback that was piling up? I'm not sure why it would happen with SnagIt and not other software, so it's a stab in the dark.

@mike:

Can you please be more precise so we can test?  At exactly how many min:sec does the static become noticable?

Also, what versions of SnagIT and macOS are you running?

Finally, could you please upload/link a example?
