I'm on a Windows 10 machine, using SnagIt 13.  How can I have the Capture button (and related console)hide in the top of the screen like SnagIt 12 did?  That was very handy to be able to mouse to the top of the screen, click record, and go.  Now, I have to go find the SnagIt app, open it, etc... :(

Like you I used to work with the Snagit 12 bar at the top of the screen. In Snagit 13 I found it easier to work with clicking the icon [White capital S in a red background] in the Taskbar of Windows 10. To get that icon in place go to "All Apps" in Windows 10 and under Tecsmith pin Snagit 13 to Taskbar. On clicking this icon an  improved menu, as compared to that of Snagit 12, appears which includes the capture button. I hope this helps.
