Snagit13 - Transferring Image from Library to Editor is Painful

Snagit 11 had a nice scrolling list of prior images - up to about 50 or 75 - readily available in the editor.  Snagit 13 has removed this functionality?

Your tech support tells me I need to post here.

I have over 200 images - and the new version of Snagit only maintains 15 images in the editor.  To navigate from the library, to snagit to copy the image into my clipboard, then over to word to paste the image is incredibly painful.

I'm surprised you would deem this unnecessary in the new Snagit 13.

Long time SnagIt user, currently using SnagIt 2018 ("14" I suppose) and I'll share a tip that, if I understand your question correctly, will free you of performing those additional steps.

Sometimes I really need a capture made on a particular day last month. I click on Library, select the month and browse the thumbnails by days until I find it. Once I do find it, I double-click on it to have it instantly open in the editor and then I resume my project. That's it. If I need more that one, I just click Library again. Make sense?

Hi Mary,

I'm with you. The old style open captures tray was more convenient, allowing more recent captures to be stored in it.
It sure beats switching back and forth to the Library and recalling dates of capture.

I think tech support was suggesting that you post this as an "Idea" to this forum.

That gives people an opportunity to vote to return that functionality to SnagIt. You got my vote if you do.
