SnagIt4 and my iMac 5k suddenly not playing nice...

I'm working with SnagIt 4 latest updated on my late 2015 iMac 5k running Sierra. I frequently use a 3 second timing delay. The last few times I've used SnagIt, when the menu pops up after I select my screen area, I click normally on the camera icon to designate screenshot, and nothing happens. I click again, and the SnagIt menu reappears, but the selection area has changed to just a few pixels. After this happens, the SnagIt easy access menu interface also shrinks to just a small black strip some random place on my screen. Very odd. I've found that If I click the camera icon very slowly and hold the key down for a few seconds versus just the normal click...sometimes it works . I hadn't noticed this issue prior to the most recent version 4 update, but I'm not positive that's when it started, and it's only happening on my 5k iMac. I've never had an issue before with SnagIt on this computer. I'm generally creating screenshots of software installed on my computer, or web-based software processes. Never full screen. I am not having this issue on my MBP with the same OS and SnagIt version. Any default settings change recently that might not play nice with 5k? This has happened consistently the last 4-5 times I've used SnagIt on this computer in the past 2 weeks.

UPDATE: SnagIt4 is  actually playing very nice so far this evening. Seems to do better for me in Capture Window mode. I believe I have traced my problem back to having both the Capture Window and the One Click tab active. I did not realize I had both selected.

SnagIt appears to be back to its old sweet self again... I am including a screenshot (made with the built-in Mac tool Grab)  of the One Click tab  remnant I was still  getting on my screen when I turned on my computer this evening.  I was able to easily close this remnant, and once I adjusted my preferences to Capture Window, all is well.
