1.) Leave the OneClick screen goober on at all times (even when we don't want system resources consumed)
2.) Go diving into the Taskbar to locate the Snagit icon and play a game of "find the tiny menu choice" for a few minutes.
What happened to the on-screen window/dialogue box we've had in all previous versions where we could manage Snagit and launch our captures? As far as I can see, it is no longer a part of Snagit. This makes no sense.
I genuinely don't like the OneClick interface. I never have. In my opinion, nearly
all software that leaves items on my screen when not actively in use is unwelcome. I also hate(!) moving my mouse around my screen while doing other work and having the OneClick mini-goober pop up and say Hello. It's a distraction that I do not need.
In previous versions as long as I could turn OneClick off and keep using the standard dialogue window interface, I never had a problem. I'm sure there are users who like OneClick just fine. I am not and will never be one of them.
Snagit's current user interface changes offer me two choices. I can either be annoyed by the software or slowed down by it. As a customer, those two choices do not encourage me to continue using Snagit. This drastic workflow change is a few steps beyond arrogant...it is Microsoft-like in its heavy handedness.
Please, please, please simply give us back the full size dialogue window for version 12. It was simple and efficient. It looked great and it worked. There was no reason to get rid of it.
