Snagit does work with Chrome, however scrolling capture is spotty and the Windows addin doesn't support Chrome.

We recommend that if you need scrolling capture, use Internet Explorer or Firefox on Windows and Safari or Firefox on Mac.

SnagIt is the best ScreenCapture App available, but it HAS TO WORK WITH CHROME SOON or it won't be.

Where in the Chrome Web Store can one find 'Snagit'? The term 'Snagit' doesn't give any result.

I guess Techsmith doesn't care. They already have our money, why should they bother with things like making the product actually do what it advertises?

Jayson. I would not say that TechSmith does not care because they have always been good with their customers and helping them find solutions. You have to keep in mind that the people who develop and code the browsers update them quite faster than what some companies can keep up with. There are many changes going on. Have you tried contacting TechSmith Support on this and asking what they have to say? I would recommend to do this.

I know this might not help much but, your opinions, views and request do matter. They help create a better product and sometimes things just do not make it into the newest updates or patches. Thanks for sharing your opinion and have a great day.

This thread seems two be about two separate issues:

1. The desktop version of Snagit having issues capturing the Chrome browser.
2. A version of Snagit for Chrome.

We have some news on the latter. We are excited to announce the upcoming release of TechSmith Snagit for Chrome!

We'll add more information to this thread as it becomes available.
