Snagit for Chrome issues on Macbook

I just installed both components for Snagit on Chrome. I'm using 30 chromebooks in my classroom and I flip my content with my students so I'm extremely excited about this product. For testing purposes I installed it on my Google Account on my Macbook and every time I try to access the app it quits unexpectedly. Any suggestions on how to get this to work?

Hmm...very curious. Is your Chrome browser updated to the latest version?

Can you please let us know what the OS X version is of your MacBook Pro? You can find it by going to the Apple menu and choosing About This Mac. Having the OS X version will help us with troubleshooting your issue.

Thank you,
-Jeff

Hi Arota!

Thanks for letting us know about the crash you encountered. We have an OS X 10.6 computer here, and we have been able to recreate a similar crash scenario sporadically. As Snagit for Google Chrome is new, we're still trying to determine exactly which platforms and operating system versions we will officially support. We'll keep trying out OS X 10.6 to see if there are problems, and try to fix them if possible; however, if it turns out to be a problem deeper in the operating system, there might not be much we can do to work around it, and we might have to drop support for that version of OS X.

If we can find any workarounds in the meantime, we'll update this thread to let you know!

Just FYI . . . . works fine on the Windows side! (Boot Camp WIN7 on the same laptop).
