I would like a way to export multiple images from SnagIt. Voila has this functionality. From the Snagit application, I can only select one image from the filmstrip at a time. Is there a way to select multiple images? If not, this needs to be added.

Using Snagit for Mac 2.

Batch Conversion needed for Snagit for Mac.

I just learned through the very helpful and responsive Tech Support team at TechSmith that I can not convert multiple *.snagproj files to some other format such as png; tiff or jpeg. Instead, I have to perform this action one snagproj file at a time.  Based on forum posts, it seems like this is something that can be done on the PC side.
I migrated from PC to Mac about two years ago and I brought Snagit with me because it's a fantastic product.  Since coming to Mac, I've also installed and learned Camtasia. I believe TechSmith makes great software, but it's disappointing that the functionality between PC and Mac differs.  Batch conversion is a reasonable feature to expect.  When doing screen captures of How To do XYZ on a computer, regardless of whether it's Mac or PC, the obvious approach is to capture shots in sequential order, one after another. To then have to go into each file and convert one at a time is incredibly time consuming and really shouldn't be.

I hope the development team at TechSmith take this feature request into consideration and get it done.

Dear support, When can we see batch processing in Mac? Thank you.

It's a time consuming to process captures individually in Mac. We'd really like to patch process when it comes to editing or exporting etc.

Thank you,
Fahad

Bump.  Researching how to do this and bubkis. This is a glaring hole in an otherwise useful product.

What version of Snagit Mac do you have?  My post (The official response to this thread) details how to do it in version 3.

In version 4 this can be achieved from the Library by multi-selecting captures and hitting the Export button in the bottom right corner.

Thanks!

This is incredible, I am so glad I looked this up on here!

I feel it should be advertised a bit better. Getting screenshots, then processing them, you can easily get in the hassle of Save, Duplicate, Save as... It's nasty. Searching for export or batch export from Help menu renders no helpful results. Searching the knowledge base was also unhelpful. And yet I find the answer here.

Good job though, but something to think about regarding usability and findability of this feature!
