Snagit Forces Change to IE9 With Little or No Notice to Users

Snagit stopped doing scrolling captures in Internet Explorer 8.
> > It has always worked great but now it will not scroll in All in One, or any other type of scroll. Tried custom scroll, tried scrolling region etc.. nothing works. Problem is in IE 8 only. I did repair snagit from control panel. I uninstalled recent security update on IE8, I downloaded the latest snagit 10 version, I restarted my PC many times. My PC is Windows 7 64 bit. Please help.
Now the rest of the story:
SoftwareCasa Software Team replys "Internet Explorer 9 is now supported using the Snagit 10 All-in-One Scrolling Capture. So you will need to update your IE8 to IE9".

My reaction:
I could have saved hours of time if you had put that information in your newsletter.

Surely I am not the only Snagit user using IE8.

What makes this even more frustrating for me is that I have it installed on my work computer and cannot upgrade the browser to solve the problem. I have to wait until the organization upgrades the browser to something newer.

H Jason - you (or your IT admin) could probably install an old version of Snagit to keep your old browser company.  ;)  The download will be a trial but you can unlock it with your newer key. Major versions of Snagit also install side-by-side so you can try it and easily uninstall later once your browser gets updated.
