Is there a way to capture video from your screen with the audio that comes out of your speakers?

This morning we released an update to Snagit which includes the ability to record system audio (System audio is not available on operating systems prior to Windows 7). Snagit 11.1 is now available as a free upgrade. To get the update go to Help > Check for Upgrade.

For Mac users who have not updated to Mavericks, you can find instructions for recording system audio here.

Unfortunately, for users who are on Mavericks, we’re facing an
incompatibility issue at the moment, and I regret to say that we do not have a viable solution for recording system
audio at this time (microphones, however, work just fine). I apologize for the inconvenience and will keep you updated!

Hey Snagit Mac users!

While I don't have a perfect solution right now, I am happy to say that a fix is (and has been - I'm a little tardy in updating this) in active development. Provided we don't run into any snags (heh), it will be in an upcoming release. We appreciate your patience with this!
