I was thinking of updating to v11 and am supprised that most of the 'major release' is a 'major reduction'. Correct me but I looked at what was new and read the following:

•Removed support for several file formats including .msp, .cal, .pcx, .raw, etc.
•Removed the ability to capture full screen DOS windows.
•Removed the ability to capture icons from .exe and .dll files.
•Removed the "Create Web Page" feature.
•Removed the Web Capture mode.
•Removed the ability to capture from DirectX applications.
•Removed various region capture options including capturing triangle region, a rounded rectangle region, an ellipse region, etc.

Quote, un quote. These are things I used? Why should I upgrade to what is really a downgrade? Did you add any features or is it all bug fixes?

Hello Mr. Bellas,
Thank you for your questions and feedback.

Based on our research and user data analysis, we removed those features/capabilities because the majority of customers were not using those options. This allowed us to eliminate some outdated code and continue to offer a superior user experience. If there is something specific you use, we may have a workaround. If you could let us know what features you use, it would be helpful.

We did add several features including the ability to create instantly sharable, MPEG4 videos, we added several new sharing destinations for image and video, new default stamps and a series of updates based on customer feedback, like spell check, improved zoom options, and more.

Here is a link that describes more details about what is new:

You can install the free, 30 day trial side by side with your current Windows version and try it for yourself. We would really like to get your feedback.

Please let us know if you have additional questions or feedback.
Thank you,
