SnagItEditor (v2018) - adding a callout.
The floating text toolbar regulary covers text that I have to use in my 'callout'.
Workaround: close callout editing, write down what is needed and revert to callout editing again.

It would be nice if the floating toolbar could be 'grabbed' and be moved away a little, so the area behind it becomes visible again.
Have not discovered a way to do so.

As a suggestion: maybe make the toolbar slightly longer and add a kind of 'grab area' (handle).
Something like the below?

Thanks!

I agree.

My toolbar disappears if I  doubleclick inside the textbox.

Workaround - create your text outside the area you want to see and move it where you want it when finished.

Thanks.
Problem is that only whilst adding/editing a callout, it becomes clear that it is covering underlying text. In the above example, if the toolbar would have popped up just a little lower (just 5 or 8 mm lower), then the text would have been visible. Grabbing the toolbar and move it away might then be the easiest way.
I agree, if the text box on the left would have been lower, then the toolbar would have been lower as well. Then again, position of the text box must be there, it is also covering other stuff.

Bottom line: I guess allowing to grab and move the toolbar is the easiest way.

When I  complete the draw for a callout box the toolbar pops up and if it’s covering  what I  want to see I  click inside the drawn box and the toolbar disappears and if it’s still in the way I  just move the drawn callout box finish it and move it back to it’s final position.

Why is grabbing and moving the toolbar any better than making it disappear?
