Some audio files clipping in Camtasia 9

I have exported audio from my DAW at 48/24 (wav) and the source audio is not clipping. When I import this audio into Camtasia, it sounds like there is some clipping, very faint but audible. I tried re-exporting the audio from my DAW 2db lower but that was also clipping. I then used different sounds from my DAW and exported the exact same format (48/24 wav) and the clipping was gone. Are there certain types of sounds that Camtasia is sensitive to, or is Camtasia compressing/altering the files on import?

Hi Bluffmunkey;

Try exporting from the DAW at 44.1kHz rather than 48kHZ to see if that works. Note too that while Camtasia might be able to read 24-bit audio, it works best with 16-bit.
