Some type of smoothing?

I am loving some of the features of Camtasia 9. I have noticed that at the 100% setting only sometimes do you see the screen just like you see it on your monitor (crisp where you almost see each pixel). When you add an Animation Point to a higher zoom level, if you go to a different place on the time line, and then go back to 100% Camtasia seems to apply a type of smoothing or something. What is this called? I know from experience this can make sense for what the program has to do (I have experience with zooming programs like ZoomText). However, I don't like it. For one reason, it is not consistent. For second is, in the past, I would use the capture for still shots or even use Snagit on top of the Playback or Editor to grab shots that I missed at earlier times. Can someone explain this? Is there some setting that controls this? Thanks
