TechSmith does tend to keep files all over hither and yon. You should check a couple areas:
      C:\Users\"YourUserName"\AppData\Local\TechSmith\Camtasia Studio\CrashDumps
That location was not thought out well !! (Nor do I see how it be changed?)

If you didn't change default locations, you should find a "Camtasia" and a  "Camtasia Studio" folders in your username documents folder.  Another, not well thought out location !!

Also, if you re-open Camtasia, the start window should list "recent projects", hope you find yours there. HTH

Do you know the name of the Production?

Have you tried Windows Search?

Select a Drive.
Type the Name or First name of the video/file/project in the Search Window.
Let Windows look for it. If it exists, it will be found.
