We found 15,000 similar posts.  That's what I get when I type in "Speed and Pitch" into the search bar.  The tech that I emailed with told me to post here after telling me that Camtasia "Yeah, unfortunately that is something we don't currently have but are looking to implement in the future. "  Camtasia for Mac had this SEVEN YEARS AGO!!!  I shouldn't have to explain but when you change the speed of a clip the pitch needs to stay the same.  Ridiculous.  I'd like a refund.

Nice workaround, once more. I do appreciate your skill and responsiveness in offering workarounds for Camtasia. Though of course it would be much better to have this be part of the product. I don't imagine there are very many people who want the pitch altered when the time is stretched or compressed.

I found a workaround - it's called Filmora and it costs a fifth of what Camtasia does.  By the way, you can just change the duration of the video to 1 minute - it's right under the speed field.  Painful watching you find the 1.17 speed.
