How do I keep all the content of my video but just speed it up in Camtasia Studio 8?

Karen this is pretty simple to do but there are some things to watch out for like the audio. If you select just the video part and other items like Title Image, etc. and right click on your mouse you will see an option to change your Clip Speed. Then just put the amount you want to speed it up by in percent for example it will show default of 100 so if you put in 200 it will be twice as fast. If you want to slow it down just do the opposite and use say 50 instead of the 100.

Now if you have audio on the timeline too and you speed that up it will cause your audio to sound like someone on helium or slow if you reduce it from the default 100.

So not knowing what you are trying to accomplish and if there is audio on your video or not it is hard to say. I just provided some basic information here to hopefully help explain how and some of the effects that can be caused. Let us know and thanks for posting Karen. Have a great day.

That is just the answer I was looking for, thank you. The reason to speed up my video and not the audio, is when recording painting demonstrations in Photoshop.
