Some creative people are dyslexic and can't spell.  It really sucks to re-render just because of a spelling error. Please, pleese, pleise introduce a spellchecker in Camtasia 2018 next version.  Also knote that spelling errors give Camtasia and Techsmith a wrinkled look when errors like that occur.

Totally agree this would be helpful. But I'm guessing you mean when inserting basic Annotations, right? Because oddly, spell check actually IS there when typing Closed Captions.

And until such time as it's added for Annotations, perhaps that's a workaround? Put the caption text into the CC area and see if spell check catches or flags it?

To piggyback onto this idea, I'm aware that in the CC we are able to add what is perceived as a misspelled word to the dictionary. But what dictionary? Where is it? How do I remove the word if I added it and didn't really intend to? (It happens)

Cheers... Rick :)

definitely would help

if you produce to MP4 with controller, and the spelling errors are in captions, marker names [TOC], or quiz text, you can fix, after the fact, by editing the produced config files with a text editor

let me know if you need a how-to tutorial
