thank you for the new version 13. Maybe, i think stamps use and  managment as to be improved.
I have lots of stamps ( i buy superstamps v4 and download all the techsmith stamps). I put all of them in the stamps folder. ( all stamps are in subfolders)

The problem.
It's very difficult to browse for searching a stamps ( when you don't remember in witch subfolder it is exactly).
The stamp pannel ( where i can select the one i want to use) is to small.
When
i clic on "organize stamps", it's better, the pannel is bigger and i
can browse the stamps faster but i can't select it using "orgainze
stamps". So i have to locate the stamps using "organize stamps" then go
back to the small stamps pannel ( in the right of the screen) to select
it.
Not very easy.
For the more, you'll can add a "favorite stamps" bookmark
Can you do something for next update ?
i send you some screen captures of what i need
thank you

Just yesterday I was thinking about how nice it would be to have a way to "favorite" certain stamps. For the moment, I think our best bet is to use the Organize Stamps feature and just copy all of our favorite or frequently used stamps to a new folder. Perhaps precede the folder name with a zero ( 0 ) so it sorts to the very top of the list.

Cheers... Rick :)

Very good point. We've considered a couple different options here. A couple questions:

Do you find yourself using the same stamps over and over?
How many do you regularly use?
Which ones do you value the most?
Which ones would you like to see more of?

Thank you!

I most often use the Callout with the tail (REALLY wish I could add more tails, this request is at least 5 years old). This is followed by the numbers, blur, pen, highlight, lines, shapes and arrows. I think that is my order of usage.

To have callout with 2 tails I put 2 callout one on the other...the only solution I found... To bad.

Yes this is the workaround I use and it is super pain if I need 3 or more tails!
From what I understand this function is available in the MAC version of SnagIt what the heck is so different that the code cannot be implemented in the PC version?

Yes - I use the same stamps over and over - probably about 10 Favorites. I value the ones that let me show others how something works, or didn't work! so: emojis (smiley and sad faces) and OS icons like cursors, mouse-clicks, etc.

I use 10 different stamps. It's not a large amount. But it 's because I'm unable to find / browse / discover all the stamps I bought.

The v12 pictures libraries is nice. Add the same for stamps ( they are pictures to no?) so we can add keywords, category, tags...

I definitely agree that there needs to be a way to zoom up the stamps preview in V13, particularly png objects such as Super Stamps. As I had mentioned in another post, some of the 'standard' objects such as arrows are fine, but if an object contains text or perhaps a variety similar designs with slight differences it is sometimes impossible to distinguish one from the other, or read the objects text until the item has been inserted on a capture. A slider to scale/zoom up the preview size of objects would be ideal.

I second the request to have a favorites folder, (dream is to have it remember the stamps ones I use most often, and/or most recently).  I would love to hug you guys for adding the Black fount with white outline to the font family.  I'm so happy about that thanks you.

Not being able to read the text on the stamps (As seen in the image by Jean Marc) is a very big deal for someone that uses this feature extensively like I do.

In general I think the menus and panes layouts need to be totally rethought, I find it very cumbersome and slows me down.  I have been creating training manuals and help files with snagit for years and and 13 has taken me 2x as long to complete those tasks.  I thought I would get used to it over time but I have not, its just too many clicks to do standard things.  I find myself back in 12 when I need to do something quickly, and therefore I'm not learning 13 as much as I could be.

I want to be able to search for stamps based on what they are, for instance, searching for arrow gets me every arrow, search for red gives me every stamp that's red.

Adding my vote for improving the Stamps functionality overall.  Selecting favorites and having the ability to search would be a fantastic addition.
