I'd like stamps or drawing tools that have a sketchy look, like:

http://wireframesketcher.com/ or
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/expre...,

without having to buy another tool.

Here's a link to an image in that last topic that shows a sketchy style:

This is super useful for prototyping, or for drawing conceptual diagrams for SDKs where you want to abstract away the look&feel (which will be different for every implementation), and focus on the features provided by the SDK.

Thanks.

Hey Janet,

We are always releasing new, free stamps for our snagit users. I'll pass this along over to our design team. Thanks for the feedback!

Cool thanks!! I don't think you can modify stamps, though, other than resizing them. So, making the existing drawing tools (Callouts, Shapes) have a sketchy outline and sketchy text fonts might be better. I'd pay for an upgrade for that. :)

You can always create your own custom stamps, if you are so inclined. You can check out an article on how to do that here: http://blogs.techsmith.com/tips-how-t...

Or if you are on mac: http://blogs.techsmith.com/tips-how-t...

Hope that helps!

That's awesome! I always wondered about that.

But, truly, I think I'd prefer the sketchy style to be applicable to the Callouts and Shapes tools. I can't seem to change the title of my post, so, consider my feature request to apply to Callouts and Shapes. :) (I guess I can't speak for the 2 additional "people who have this question", though.)

This is a great idea :)

I am working on similar sketch stamps already for future SuperStamps :)

PS. If you haven't seen SuperStamps yet it may be worth checking out (please note it's a paid resource):
