Straight Line Sketch Motion Annotation

Camtasia Studio 9 has a sketch motion annotation that looks like a 45 degree line, as shown in the image:

I've never actually had a use for a 45 degree line, but I would get lots of use out of a horizontal line. I often have to use this line and try to get the angle just right to underline words in my videos. A horizontal line would allow me to get perfect underlines every time without having to fight with this line to get it right.

Thanks!

Good Idea, I voted yes for it.

I don't know if your aware of this or not.If you go into properties and type 150.8 for rotation on the Z axis. It's about as level as it gets.

Thanks Joe. Yes, I experimented a bit with that setting & was able to get it "close enough."

Hi Brad,

I turned one sideways and made a Library item, in case you'd like to use it - feel free to download it here :) https://www.screencast.com/users/aarontest/folders/Sharing/media/1c25151f-9e23-4508-a4dd-e529ceea4798

I was inspired to make a fun graphic:

Ha, that is pretty cool Aaron.
Maybe you should have shared that project file instead.
Someone may want to create a intro or something with it.

I imagine it would be quite simple, and useful, to include 'shift' functionality.
Hold shift, click the screen where you want the line to begin, then drag horizontally, vertically or diagonally, where Shift = conform the line to a snap 90 degree (vert) , zero degrees (horiz) or 45 degrees (perfect 45 angle) from the click point.
