Streaming videos go black when screen capture or print screen is used.

I've uploaded (and bought) the most current version of Snagit (2020.1.0 build 4965), but like my previous version it can no longer capture screen shots or videos of streamed services such as Comcast or Amazon Prime.  I was able to do so with my prior version (from 2008) until a few months ago. I thought the most up-to-date might fix it, but it doesn't. As soon as screen capture or print screen is used, the screen image goes black, although the video continues and sound is still heard. Are there solutions?

Hi Phil;
Generally speaking there is no real direct solution here as those services will use HDCP and other copyright protection methods (that are a combination of hardware and software) to prevent the unauthorized copying, distribution, or reproduction of licensed content. If there is a particular scene that you are attempting to capture / screenshot then I recommend trying to find the scene on YouTube and take a screenshot of that as you'll likely have better luck.
