Suggest New Feature -Flag mistakes during recording

A lot of instructors use camtasia to create instructional videos. But many are not comfortable and will make mistakes. For now, people either take notes of the time to quickly find them later or pause to record a long pause to find it. It will be more user-friendly if you have a quick flag feature. During recording, we simply click a button. There is a flag added to the clip. Later, people can quickly find the place of mistakes. This will save us tones of time.

Thank you.

when recording with Camtasia Recorder, you can add a marker whenever wanted by using the shortcut key [look at Recorder's tools/options/hotkeys]; usual default hotkey is ctl-M

these markers will then show when clip is on timeline in the editor

kayakmans suggestion is a great way for accomplishing this task. I use it all the time and I also use a method of a clapping of hands or a dog ticker to use when I make a mistake so I know where to go back while in the Camtasia Ediotr to fix the issue(s).

I have also used the method of being silent for a few seconds if or if I don't use the Marker and just Pause for a short while then re-record the video if being used or the audio portion or both combined. Hope this helps a bit too. Thanks for posting and have a great day/night. Let us know if this helps you please by posting back.
