Suggestion: Adjustable playback speed in Snagit video capture

When I record a long meeting in Snagit and then play it back later, it would be nice to be able to speed up the playback (with speech kept as normal as possible) so I can review the recording in less time.  Double speed would be nice.  Variable speed even better.  An option to save a new copy at the faster speed would be nice.

I'm not sure how it would affect the pitch of the voice, but you can drop a speed adjustment on your media and configure it to 200%. Then you could remove it once you are finished.

If you are planning on removing it later, I'd advise against any real editing other than simple cuts, because removing the speed adjustment will affect the video and could end up with negative consequences.

@Jon Not sure if this will met your need or not, but you can share your video from Snagit directly to Screencast.com (also owned by TechSmith). You get a free basic Screencast.com account as a Snagit or Camtasia customer that comes with 2GB of storage.

In Screencast.com you can playback the video at several different speeds, and the voice still sounds pretty decent.
