Suggestion for More Convenient Functionality and Keyboard Shortcuts

I am using the latest version of Jing downloaded as of January 12, 2019. Some functionality right now is making me want to go back to Microsoft Snipping Tool. However, I like what Jing has to offer in terms of markup tools, and therefore I want to help make the user experience better.

Preview Window hides after clicking Copy or Save.

Issue: After capturing an image, and clicking Copy the capture window hides the screen captured image.

Suggestion: Keep the capture image window in view until a user chooses to close it.

Reason: In order to copy it again later, especially after copying something else, a user needs to open the history to grab the image again. This is inconvenient especially when editing a document and needing the screen capture image again. Very bad for workflow.

Enable keyboard short cuts for selecting "Capture image"
Issue: In the preview window, right after capturing an image, users need to select whether to "Capture Image", "Capture Video", "Redo Selection", "Cancel". This requires using a mouse.

Suggestion: In the preview window, right after capturing an image, allow users use the keyboard to select "Capture Image" (such as keyboard 1 and or the letter "i"), "Capture Video" (such as keyboard 2 and or the letter "v"), "Redo Selection" (such as keyboard 3 and or the letter "R"). "Cancel" is not required because the ESC key will cancel. Or allow users to specify their own shortcut.

Reason: The current user interface is not fast enough for power users to use the mouse constantly for every command.

Enable keyboard short cuts for "Copying" or "Saving" image
Issue: Currently, when a user a ready to Copy or Save an image, the user must use the mouse to select "Copy" or "Save".

Suggestion: Allow users to use a keyboard shortcut to COPY the image while the capture window is active (such as keyboard Ctrl+C) and have a pop-up that indicates the image has been copied to clipboard. Allow users to use a keyboard shortcut to SAVE the image while the capture window is active (such as keyboard Ctrl+S).

Reason: The current user interface is not fast enough for power users to use the mouse constantly for every command.

Enable keyboard short cuts for opening History
Issue: right now the only way to open Jing History is by using the mouse to mouse over Jing and then history.

Suggestion: Add function to allow users to customize a "Open History" button.

Reason: The current user interface is not fast enough for power users to use the mouse constantly for every command.

Pin to Taskbar
Issue: The pin to taskbar works, keeping the icon visible on the task bar. However, clicking on the icon, when there are no active Jing windows open, will open Jing, and not prompt a user to select "Capture", "History", "More", "Check Updates", which is the behavior when clicking the Jing icon that is in the system tray. So when a user pins Jing to the taskbar and then clicks on it, the behavior is not desired, and will force a user to go to the Sun Icon. This issue is related to the first issue, which is how a user can keep active the captured window, see history.

Suggestion: match behavior to sun Icon and system tray.

Reason: The current functionality is not intuitive. A user doesn't want to "Open" Jing again. They want to be prompted with options, just like the Sun icon and the system tray icon.
