Right now you can select sounds and visual effects for left and right mouse clicks, but it would be cool if there was also an option to get a small text label below (or left or right of) the cursor that indicates when you are holding a keyboard key, like ctrl at the same times as the click or even for a right click. So you'd still get just the sound for a left click, but a right or ctrl or shift or alt or combination of these would pop up a little text label (along with the sound), like a tooltip, to indicate the special click. The label would obviously contain ctrl, ctrl+shift, alt, etc.

Have you tried the "Generate Keystroke Callouts"  under Modify?

Didn't know that existed.  Will it work on a clip or a selected region only?

Hi Mark;

If you place splits in the TREC on the timeline around the area you want to generate them for, you can then generate them for a small clip and not the whole video.
