SUGGESTION - New Right-Click option

I find myself often right-clicking images, then pasting them into the SnagIt editor for manipulation.

When I saw the integration with the Snipping Tool where its snips automagickally appear in SnagIt, I thought it was way cool.

So one way that I could see a major productivity boost would be to see a right-click option that says something like "Copy and edit using SnagIt editor". Where choosing that option would simply cause SnagIt to open with the image all nice and loaded up in the editor.

I'm not sure if the Mac version works the same way with allowing right-clicks and all, but if it does, I would envision the Mac version gaining this as well.

Rick, by the way how is version 2020 working out. is it worth the $24.95 upgrade. I have not installed anything after v 11.4.1. I own the licenses but uninstalled the new ones.

Personally, I'm quite pleased with the 2020 version myself. I do like the templates and the new ability to create videos from images. But I also know others aren't all too impressed by the new features. Then again, such is life, eh?

Just as everyone has a different combination of hair and eye color, the same applies to what you perceive as "usefulness". For me, SnagIt has always been a "no brainer" upgrade. But I know others likely feel differently about it.

And this is a perfect example of why folks like TechSmith offer free trials. ;)

I'd heartily encourage you to download and install the free trial and kick the tires to see for yourself.

Cheers... Rick :)

Oh, and I'm very happy to see that TechSmith changed the way things are listed in the Templates dialog so that the "basic and simple combine - My words" is now listed first. That's a plus. Although, I really Really REALLY wish it were simply named: Simple combine!
