I have used SnagIt for some years (since at least version 6) and
the one thing that has eluded me, and which would be a useful enhancement is the ability to equalize the sizes of drawing tools, especially call-outs. I frequently annotate illustrations using call-outs and getting them to match in size and alignment is problematical.
In the attached example file, you will see a typical example.
A diagram is annotated using a series of call-outs. What is needed are commands to set selected items separately to the same width, and same height ( and both), and for the alignment to ignore the 'tails' of the call-outs. In the example it is easy enough to 'align the right sides of the text boxes, but if you align the left sides, it aligns to the tips of the pointers, which is useless, and setting the width and.or heights to match is by trial and error. The result is the mishmash shown.
It would be great if your programmers could overcome these failings, many of which apply to other graphical elements also.
