Hey, using prtsc button in the new TechSmith Capture software to take a screenshot could've been great. But unfortunately for some reason its impossible to use a dedicated hardware print screen button to capture a printscreen?
Please make it possible

Thanks for pointing this out; it is not intentional, so we will add this bug to our list!

Our latest release fixes the bug where you couldn't use the PrintScreen key as your capture hotkey.

Paul - I've just tried PrintScreen key as hotkey and it doesn't work when I have Visual Studio 2019 (VS2019) open, but works with other apps. Also note I quit Capture and started Jing which did work with VS2019 using the PrintScreen as the hotkey. Capture version 1.1.10.510

Bug.
I'm using as a hotkey alt-ctrl-prtsc
I start program, do one capture. Then i try to do another capture and it won't work. Nothing happens. Then if i try to close program from taskbar it tells me "capture in progress".
If i use ctrl-3 it works.
If i use alt-ctrl-3 it doesn't work. So it's something with ctrl-alt actually.
And it won't shutdown after that issue, its gone from taskbar but can only fully kill it from task manager.

I'm trying to reproduce this but having trouble making it happen. What I did:
  1. Set hotkey to ctrl+alt+3
  2. Use hotkey ctrl+alt+3
  3. Pick Image
  4. Save image
  5. Close preview
  6. hit hotkey again
For me, it starts another capture as it should. Are you doing something different from that?

Hey, between your steps 5 and 6 click X to close capturer. https://www.screencast.com/t/QJiR8mcd It will minimize to taskbar icon and then the bug hits. If i keep it open hovering on the desktop it definitely doesn't happen. I have the "keep running in background" checked.

Actually i just managed to get the bug right on a fresh restart of the program, closed it instantly(i guess) and then the same issue happened. But can't reproduce this one.
Doesn't seem to be related to the actual hotkey anymore...

And now while i was typing it started to capture, maybe a minute after i pressed the hotkey.
And the whole issue doesn't happen if the program is minimized, it happens only if i close it with X and it becomes taskbar icon.
Windows 10 18636 on a pretty decent desktop. Capturer 1.1.10.510
