I have Techsmith Relay loaded on the VMware View 6 thin/zero clients at my institution. There is an issue when Presenters select the camera feature in the Techsmith Relay user interface screen. I utilize the Logitech c920 HD Pro Webcam. When the Presenter click on the camera button it displays 4 video sources e.g. Do Not record camera, VMware virtual webcam, Logitech HD Pro Logitech Webcam c920 (In Use), VMware Virtual Webcam (legacy). When I click to select the Logitech Webcam it gives me a message basically saying that I can’t use the Logitech Webcam, because it is being used by another source. We also have standard PCs on our campus with Techsmith Relay loaded on them and we don’t have this issue. We also use Youtube and screen-o-matic to record on the VMware View 6 thin/zero clients. It displays a menu box in Flash and I can select the camera and it works fine. Is it possible to give us the option to not show the camera up-front. Please advise... Also, see attachment...

 Best Regards,

Hi Perry,

This sounds like it could be a bug. I think you'd be better served by utilizing our Tech Support.

Please open a ticket at and someone should be able to get back with you within one business day.
