Text box without an outline ?

Hello,
Is it possible to add to a screenshot a text box without an outline ? From the text tool properties, I see that one can remove the shadow effect but, apparently, not the outline. According to the help (https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us/articles/216460207-Text), the tool properties allows to choose a transparent outline; that would be an alternative but I do not see this option on the Mac OS version 4.1.0. Any hint ?

This is pretty easy. Just change the font scheme (found under the style selection in the upper right) from "Standard" to "Urban". There you can use your fonts like normal.

Thank you for your very rapid reply and to have brought to my attention the style option.

Hi Daniel,

Another option to get text without an outline is to set the Line Width property on the text to 0.

And also uncheck the check box.

Well I have not found a check box to uncheck (like for the shadow) in the tool properties. A nice feature for the next version ? This being said, the above solutions are fine.

Hi,

In version 4.1.2 (released today) there is now the option to have a transparent text outline on the mac version.
