Hey Bill,

Are you talking about putting captions on your video? If so, here is a video to help you with that process:http://www.techsmith.com/tutorial-cam...

If you are talking about the keystroke callout, this video will help: http://youtu.be/OOUDRLjrH1E

If those don't help, let me know!

This is done with video editing software, like Sony Movie Studio or Vegas.

See this video on how to do it with Sony Vegas:

You can't do this with Camtasia studio. At least I have not found a way.

@Unicus: This same efffect can in fact be accomplished in Camtasia. You could use one long text callout (setting the text to Align Left), and make a split every time you add a new letter.

Hello Bill,

There are a few ways to accomplish this. Aaron showed one way and here is another way. Record yourself typing a sentence and then increase the clip speed. I made a quick video to show you how.

Please let me know if you have any questions or feedback.

Thanks,

Erika

Those are some cool ways to type on screen, however, I don't believe the methods work for typing into a product UI.
