Hi
I'm using Camatsia 8.6.
I have this issue that the audio I hear is not the audio I see. It is in sync only if I run it from the beginning, but if I start from different points on the timeline, it's not in sync.
I tried a few things that didnt help:
(The screen and the audio are separated.)
I cut it to short parts- and saved them separately, each part less than 2 minutes long (as somebody suggested in the forum to a similar problem)
I spoke to support in the past, they said that it might be an issue of a lot of editing- I tried using less this also didn't help.
I'm lost.
Anybody????
Thanks

True experts will be along shortly.

Were the two in synch from beginning to end before any editing was performed?  If they were, then it is the editing.  For example, if the video is cut but not the audio then they will obviously be out of synch from that point forward.

If they were never in synch then  more information will help the experts.

What is the source of both the audio and video?  Specifically, how were both captured and were they edited or converted before importing in to CS8?

I ask, because in this case the frame rates may have been different when captured or after modification.  You can tell this if the audio and video start off in synch, become slightly out of synch, and end up greatly out of synch.  The correction for this partially depends on answers to the above questions.

This is a known issue with variable bitrate MP3 files on the timeline in version 8.x.

Dave thanks. It works for now! Do you know if this problem is solved in Camtasia 9?
